Spread axle- pros& cons - Yellow Bullet Forums
135 posts · Joined 2013. #2 · Apr 11, 2013. Spread axle will scrub the tires much harder. However, they're easier on the tow vehicle, because the axles support the weight over a longer area, which means less porpoising. They ride a bit better, as a result of the axles working more independently or less "together".

65 Nova “Patina” Small Tire Build | Yellow Bullet Forums
This is our 65 Nova home built small tire Hot Rod. This was a rust bucket we found sitting next to a barn on a farm out in Nebraska. We brought her home and fixed every bit of rust, knocked out all the dents and blended in the paint to match the original patina as we found her. We bent up the custom roll cage (mild steel), mini tubbed it by ...

Hoosier Slicks What compound for Bracket Racing?
Even the D06 is too hard for your combo. Also, your current tire is a soft sidewall, which is too soft for your weight. The 18400 is a stiff sidewall, which should work well for your weight. budsplaceracingschool.com. call 609-680-8410 for race parts and installations, consulting, and racing school. Reply Like.

what size winch for an enclosed trailer | Yellow Bullet Forums
3003 posts · Joined 2008. #10 · Dec 30, 2014 (Edited) I have been using a HF 2500 pound winch in my small enclosed trailer for almost five years and never had a problem pulling anything into the trailer. I once pulled a broke 4,400 pound scissors lift with locked up tires into the trailer with a single line pull.

Electric water pumps - are they reliable? | Yellow Bullet Forums
1134 posts · Joined 2008. #13 · Dec 3, 2011. I know a guy the rewinds the csr pumps for $45 plus shipping. I had mine done after it failed after 3 years of use. It definitely works better. He states that he has yet to have one back. Biggest issue with these pumps is they quality and the way they wind the armature.

Figure 8 car! | Yellow Bullet Forums
Figure 8 car! Building my new figure 8 dirt car, figured I would post a few pics. I sold every part off this car that isn't pictured, got $425 for the quarters and trunk, and didn't have to cut them off. Only gave $300 for the car to start, and have the original window sticker and hand written receipt from the dealership in Nebraska.

open trailer wind delfector - Yellow Bullet Forums
The windscreen doubles as a storage container. The trailer use to be used for road racing so it has a tire bar that the part of the car parks under. Since I don't use it for road racing, eventually I will probably cut the tire bar section off, and shorten the box to help with air flow. Its kinda like having a parachute on the back of the truck.
